SRO Motorsports Group and Champagne house Janisson have started a new partnership for the Total 24 Hours of Spa, adding a prestigious name to an already impressive list of blue riband partners.
Champagne house Janisson is the most recent of exclusive companies joining SRO Motorsports Group for the Total 24 Hours of Spa. Not only will their champagne be sprayed by the podium finishers of the highlight of the Blancpain GT Series and Intercontinental GT Challenge, the divine nectar will also be served in all SRO hospitalities during the Belgian endurance classic.
The Janisson Champagne House is located in Verzenay, village at the South of Reims, in one of the most prestigious terroirs of the Champagne region. Famous since 1873, Verzenay grapes - Pinot Noirs particularly - reveal their complexity and bouquet. Leading the champagne house is the fifth generation winegrower Manuel Janisson.
Descending from a long line of wine-makers, Manuel Janisson is forward- thinking and resolutely passionate about developing and enriching the family tradition. In 2014, with the help of architect Giovanni Pace, he based his Champagne House in a sleek, modern cellar; reflecting the style of his new cuvées. The state of the art winery ensures that new technology is put to good use to get the very best from what nature provides.
