Spectacular Strakka Racing #SPArt Car Revealed
Strakka Racing’s striking art car for this year’s Total 24 Hours of Spa has been revealed ahead of race-week’s on-track action in the Ardennes Forest.

The design of the #SPArt car livery was created by Jorrit van Dasselaar  and splits the #58 Strakka Racing McLaren 650S GT3 down the middle, with one side representing the past and the other showcasing the possible future design of McLaren racers.

On the left side of the car, the car is predominately heritage McLaren Orange, which has been the main colour on McLaren’s early racing examples. The right meanwhile, features reflective lightning vinyl to make it stand out during night practice and during the dark hours of the twice-around-the-clock endurance race.

The vinyl work has been completed by Joyce Designs, using 3M vinyl, to ensure that from a distance, as well as up close, the finish is of the highest quality.

The PRO-class entered #58 650S GT3 is one of customer team Strakka Racing’s quartet of cars entered in the world-famous Belgian GT race, which features over 60 GT3 cars. It will be driven by Factory Drivers Rob Bell and Côme Ledogar, as well as GT Academy driver Ben Barnicoat, who is making his Spa 24 Hours debut with the team this year.

This year’s Total 24 Hours of Spa is set to get underway at 16:30 local time on Saturday, running until the same time on Sunday. (UTC +1)
